Having the opportunity to receive personal & professional guidance and coaching from Chrissy as a social worker has been one of the most invaluable experiences of my life. Chrissy's unwavering support has empowered me to discover my true potential and overcome obstacles with confidence. Through her individualized and strengths-based approach, I've gained self-awareness, honed crucial leadership skills, and unlocked new avenues for growth both personally and professionally. In my journey from new graduate to Agency leader, Chrissy has pushed me outside my comfort zone with empathy and grace. I will forever be grateful for my experiences with Chrissy and will use the skills she has taught me in all areas of my life for years to come.

I had the pleasure of working with Chrissy on a grant project for our organization, and it was exceptional. Chrissy crafted a grant template that effectively communicated our mission and objectives, leading to successful funding. Her responsiveness and communication skills were outstanding throughout the process. I highly recommend Chrissy for her professionalism and expertise in grant writing.

Taking on a new position, I was charged with merging three departments (social services, senior services, and behavioral health) into one department of Human Services for a municipality. I knew the first step was establishing a shared mission and staff, previously siloed, to connect. Having worked with Chrissy in a previous role, I knew she was the one who could get us there. In a two day retreat, Chrissy organized, inspired and helped us create the foundation that guides our work for our community today as well as the connection we needed as a team to achieve our mission.
Town of Newtown, CT
As an intern in my final year of Masters of Social Work studies, I worked for Chrissy as she led the Quality Improvement/Program Development department at a major local non-profit organization. Every week, I would have a one-on-one conversation with Chrissy to discuss daily tasks and projects she assigned me as well as my bigger-picture questions about life in the field. Every time, I left the room more energized, focused, and inspired than when I entered as Chrissy would challenge me to dig deep within to articulate my deepest values and vision for myself as an aspiring social work professional– “my why” as Chrissy called it. She masterfully kept me on task with projects assigned to me while also finding and creating opportunities within and without the Agency where I could exercise those goals she helped me give voice to in our weekly conversations. Chrissy cut through the noise of my current moment as an overwhelmed intern and graduate student and connected what felt mundane to that which was meaningful to me and guided me to clarify how to get from where I was to where I wanted to go.
